Technical Advisor

Customer Support & Work Order Management

  • Handle calls from managers and take charge of requests, creating work orders for planned breakdowns, ongoing maintenance, and unplanned breakdowns.
  • Perform initial remote diagnosis for unplanned breakdowns and contact partners, sharing diagnostic information.
  • Create work orders and ensure prompt action, including arranging towing, dispatching mobile units, and guiding drivers on quick repairs.
  • Provide timely follow-up to vehicle managers.

Maintenance Planning & Fleet Monitoring

Validate ongoing maintenance lists, plan parts orders, and prepare work orders for scheduled maintenance.

  • Maintain positive relationships with managers by monitoring fleet condition through direct communication.
  • Decide on repair approaches (internal or external) with fleet manager assistance based on initial diagnosis.
  • Analyze company fleets to identify frequently failing parts and notify fleet managers to implement scheduled maintenance plans that minimize vehicle downtime.

Administrative & Documentation

  • Ensure administrative updates of fleet vehicles within the platform (software X), including vehicle specifications, assembly photos, updated registrations, component specifications with part serial numbers, warranties, and technical drawings.

Information & Training

  • Participate in training with manufacturers and truck representatives, including annual mandatory and recommended training courses.
  • Prepare scheduled maintenance lists for the entire year with fleet manager assistance, according to manager requests.

Management Tasks

  • Using annual reviews, make fleet renewal recommendations to managers, including written reports and formal meetings.
  • Schedule meetings with company managers to discuss practice changes and improvements needed for continuous service enhancement, increasing customer productivity.
